COMPANY HISTORY

• April 3rd 1977

Registered as Partnership Company under the name Badan Bookstore.
Open its first store at 28, 1st Floor, Tun Abdul Razak Complex, Johor Bahru.
Main Businesses: Selling books, magazines and also stationeries.

• 1978

Appointed as DBP ( Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka ) Authorized Distributor for state of Johor.

• 1992

Open a KL branch at Masjid India Road .

• 1996

On May 27th, the Company changed its name to Badan Cemerlang Sdn. Bhd.
Moved KL branch operation from Masjid India Road to Taman Seri Gombak, Selangor.

• 1998

Official Headquarter is moved to a 12,500 sq ft at Plaza Angsana, Johor Bahru.

• 2010

Open another branch at Today's Mall, Ulu Tiram on 14 August 2010. Strategically located between Ulu Tiram and Kota Tinggi, we believe it has successfully accommodated the needs of new and existing customers living around that area.

• 2012

Our newest branch has been opened at Today's Market, Bandar Seri Alam, Masai, Johor on 9 November 2012. This is part of company strategy to cater a growing need of our customers demand.
